Davichi’s Kang Min-kyung recently opened up about her acting career.
On the 14th, a video titled “Sunbaenim, is that all you ate? lol” was uploaded to Kang Min-kyung’s YouTube channel, showing her visiting a makchang restaurant with Hwasa.
During their chat, Kang Min-kyung tried to mimic Hwasa’s Jeonju dialect, but it came off a bit awkward.
When Hwasa commented, “Wow, Sunbaenim, that’s really awkward,” Kang Min-kyung sparked laughter with a self-diss, saying, “That’s why I’m not acting these days!”
Hwasa burst out laughing and noted, “I think you have your own unique style of acting.” To this, Kang Min-kyung joked, “There are all sorts of hashtags for it, from vuvuzela to pterodactyl.”

Kang Min-kyung then shared her honest thoughts on the infamous “pterodactyl acting.”
She confessed, “At first, it was hard. It wasn’t easy to endure the public’s reaction.” However, she showed a mature side, adding, “At some point, I thought that if people find joy in mocking me, perhaps that is also part of my role as an entertainer.”
The mood turned playful again when Hwasa admitted she “watches that video periodically.” Kang Min-kyung fired back, “You’re the worst! Why would you watch it periodically? Just watch it once and move on!” which left everyone in stitches.
