Nam Jin Opens Up About Kiss Scenes With Top Actresses: “There Were Times My Heart Fluttered”

Legendary singer Nam Jin is revealing the secret stories behind the kiss scenes from his past movie days.

The MBN show ‘Dongchimi’ will air a special 700th episode part 2 on the 16th at 11 PM, featuring the theme “Oppa’s loved like fire!”

During the recording, Nam Jin shared, “Whenever a song became a hit, it was made into a movie. I appeared in about 60 films, acting alongside the top actresses of the era and filming several kiss scenes.”

He recalled the strict regulations of the time, saying, “It was an era of strict censorship by the Ministry of Culture. Lips touching wasn’t allowed, so we had to just pretend to be close.”

Nam Jin also opened up about his emotions during filming. “When you focus on acting, feelings of ‘love’ naturally creep in. There were times when my heart really went there while filming. When those feelings hit, it felt so complicated, especially when emotions ran high,” he said.

He added, “When the camera zoomed out, I’d just turn my head slightly and go for it!”

Jo Young-nam also mentioned his own movie experience, saying, “You might not believe it, but I filmed a movie too. My kiss scene with actress Nam Jung-im in the movie ‘Once in My Life’ became quite a hot topic.”
