The ‘Addiction Couple’ has left the entire cast stunned by revealing some seriously deep-rooted issues.
In the episode of JTBC’s ‘Divorce Meditation Camp’ aired on the 14th, the shocking story of the 21st ‘Addiction Couple’ was unveiled.
The wife, who is showing signs of alcohol addiction due to frequent drinking, caused heartbreak by projecting her hatred for her husband onto their children. Their two sons also showed a lack of respect for their father, calling him a “bad person” and “useless.”
Even more shocking, the wife admitted to asking her second son to film their couple’s fights. She confessed to the studio, “I feel sorry for my second child, but I asked him to record the videos of us fighting so I could show them to my husband.”
The wife’s intense anger stems from the husband’s past infidelity. While the wife was pregnant with their second child, the husband used a chatting app to tell another woman “I love you” and “Let’s get married,” which the wife eventually discovered.

The wife revealed, “I told the woman he was chatting with that my husband was married and even sent photos of myself and the children.” However, she added that the husband contacted the woman again, lying that the child was his nephew and the wife was his cousin.
Instead of admitting his mistakes, the husband caused further disappointment by avoiding the issue, claiming, “It wasn’t cheating,” and arguing that he tried to meet other women because they were unable to have a physical relationship.
On top of that, the husband is currently struggling with a severe gambling addiction. The wife revealed she even took out a loan of 100 million won to cover his debts, worrying, “He says he quit, but he keeps doing it. I don’t think he’s been able to stop yet.”

It was revealed that the husband actually gambled on the very day filming for ‘Divorce Meditation Camp’ began. Although the couple tried to coordinate their stories to hide the gambling before their session with counselor Lee Ho-sun, they were eventually caught, leading Lee Ho-sun to temporarily stop the consultation.
Lee Ho-sun pointed out, “The husband has no will to change. If he were someone who truly wanted to change, would he ask for money and lose it all right before coming here?” She further noted, “He is not prepared to change at all. He is a severe gambling addict.”
Later, Lee Ho-sun resumed the session. She instructed the wife to report her progress in quitting alcohol for three months and suggested the husband take medication for addiction treatment. The couple vowed to put in one last effort for the sake of their children.
