Rain appeared on the SBS variety show “Ani Geunde Jinjja!” on the 11th, where he shared the hilarious story behind his “exposure formula” of taking off his clothes whenever he hits the stage.
Rain revealed, “When I went to Psy hyung’s performance, he introduced me by saying, ‘Jihoon is about to take off his clothes soon.'” He added with a laugh, “I did it once because of the crowd’s reaction, and later, a rumor spread that Rain always takes off his clothes whenever he appears.”
He joked, “Now, fans look forward to me taking off my clothes at Psy hyung’s show even more than at my own concerts.” Hearing this, Kai jokingly pointed out, “Hyung, if you don’t want to take off your clothes, you have to stop working out.”
It turns out Kai and Rain attend the same gym! Kai named Kim Jong Kook and Rain as the most gym-obsessed people he knows.
Kai recalled spotting Rain at the gym during a holiday break. “I went to the gym thinking, ‘Is there anyone else as obsessed with working out as I am?’ and there was hyung, running alone on the treadmill,” he reminisced.
Rain responded, “Aren’t you the same? I feel a sense of catharsis in a gym with the lights off.” He even joked, “The gym equipment feels like my girlfriends. When I see a machine I’ve never seen before, I wonder, ‘Where did you come from?'”
