TOMORROW X TOGETHER's 8th Mini Album Goes Platinum in Japan!

According to an announcement by the Recording Industry Association of Japan on the 15th, TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s 8th mini album, “7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stopped for a Moment in the Thorns,” surpassed 250,000 cumulative shipments as of April, earning a “Platinum” Gold Disc certification. With this achievement, the group now holds a total of 16 Gold Disc certifications in Japan.

The Recording Industry Association of Japan grants certifications based on cumulative album shipments: Gold (100,000+), Platinum (250,000+), Double Platinum (500,000+), Triple Platinum (750,000+), and Million (1,000,000+).

TOMORROW X TOGETHER has previously earned a Triple Platinum certification for “CHIKAI” and reached Double Platinum for “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER, SWEET.” They continue to maintain their steady popularity with Platinum certifications for “The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY,” “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL,” and “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION.”

This 8th mini album proved the immense interest of local fans by topping Oricon’s “Weekly Combined Album Ranking,” “Weekly Album Ranking,” and “Weekly Western Music Album Ranking.” Notably, they secured their 14th overall number one spot on the “Weekly Combined Album Ranking,” tying the record for the most number one hits among both Japanese and international artists.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER will hold “2026 TXT MOA CON IN JAPAN” across four cities, starting in Aichi on the 23rd and 24th, followed by Chiba, Fukuoka, and Hyogo.
