Kim Shin-young is set to reveal her signature “sweet and salty” health food course!
In the May 15 episode of MBC’s variety show “I Live Alone,” the homebody daily life of comedian Kim Shin-young after finishing her radio broadcast will be unveiled.
Previously, Kim Shin-young made headlines for losing about 44kg and maintaining her figure for approximately 13 years without any issues, but she recently shared that she has been experiencing a “yo-yo” effect.
In the released photos, Kim Shin-young, who is battling a cold, is seen preparing her own special health food. Struggling with her symptoms, she declares, “I have to eat because I’m sick!” and creates an appetizer filled with vitamins and sweetness. She explains, “It’s medicine. It’s a folk remedy passed down from my grandmother,” describing it as being like herbal medicine. After the sweet appetizer, she brings out a larger bowl to mix stir-fried anchovies with rice, completing her “1st sweet and salty course.”
Next, Kim Shin-young presents her “2nd sweet and salty course.” She introduces her “trademark” health food consisting of gochujang, vegetables, fish cakes, and her strict rule of “one serving of glass noodles a day.” After tasting it, she is highly satisfied, saying, “People are going to find out about this,” and adds, “Real health food is whatever I love.”
While sweating and eating her health food heartily, Kim Shin-young suddenly puts down her chopsticks and stops eating. She firmly states, “You have to put it down at this point,” and puts the remaining food in the fridge, leaving viewers curious about her reasoning.
To top it all off, Kim Shin-young completes the perfect finale with a refreshing dessert.
