According to the Japan Record Association, TXT’s 8th mini album, ‘Seventh Year: When the Wind Briefly Stopped in the Thicket,’ has officially earned a ‘Platinum’ certification!
Just so you know, ‘Platinum’ is one of the nine certification standards set by the Japan Record Association, awarded to albums that surpass an incredible 250,000 cumulative shipments!
This marks TXT’s 16th Gold Disc certification! And get this, their album ‘CHIKAI’ (誓い, CHIKAI) has soared to Triple Platinum status, selling over 750,000 copies!
Plus, four of their albums have already hit Double Platinum, meaning over 500,000 sales each! These include ‘The Dream Chapter: TOGETHER,’ ‘Star Kissed,’ ‘Sweet,’ and ‘Good Boy Gone Bad.’
And the rest of their incredible discography has earned Platinum certifications, including ‘The Dream Chapter: Sanctuary,’ ‘The Name Chapter: FREEFALL,’ ‘The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION,’ and ‘Chaotic Wonderland’!
This latest release also soared to #1 on Oricon’s ‘Weekly Combined Album Ranking’ and ‘Weekly Album Ranking’! It even tied the all-time record for the most #1s on the ‘Weekly Combined Album Ranking’ with an amazing 14 times!
