Minho's Insane Self-Care Ahead of SHINee's Comeback:

SHINee’s Minho recently revealed his shocking physical condition through a health check-up.

A video titled “Shocking body condition of someone who doesn’t diet, revealing Minho’s physical exam results” was posted on the ‘Choi Minho’ channel.

Minho visited a check-up center to see where he stands, explaining that this wasn’t a physical test but a look at his body exactly as it is. When asked about his recent condition, Minho admitted, “I haven’t done any intense exercise for a month. I’ve lost some motivation lately.” He opened up about the difficulty of maintaining his body while balancing SHINee concerts, regular variety show appearances, and his own channel. He then underwent an InBody test, 3D body scan, grip strength measurement, and a DEXA scan.

The specialist was impressed, noting, “You’ve had several tests. Your abdomen is incredibly thin compared to other areas.” The doctor also praised his balance, stating, “There is very little difference in the thickness of both legs. Usually, under 1cm is fine, but yours is only 0.2cm. It seems you’ve exercised very balanced.” Minho shared that he previously wanted thicker legs and is personally satisfied with his current progress.

Minho’s weight was 70.4kg with a body fat percentage of 10.4%. Specialist Woo Chang-yoon mentioned that 10% is ideal, but added, “The DEXA scan evaluates the location and amount of fat and muscle, especially the absolute weight of limb muscles. His visceral fat was so low it couldn’t even be estimated.” He surprised everyone by saying, “I’ve never seen this in a man. The amount is almost meaningless. It’s just the physiological visceral fat needed to protect the organs.” Fortunately, Minho is in a very healthy metabolic state.

Minho lamented that “muscles don’t grow easily even with a lot of exercise,” to which Woo Chang-yoon advised that “just eating more protein would help grow more muscle.”

SHINee is set to release their sixth mini album ‘Atmos’ this June. With this news, there is significant interest in the return of fellow member Key. Previously, Key was involved in a controversy last December after it was revealed he received treatment from a so-called “needle aunt” suspected of illegal procedures. At the time, he apologized, stating, “I feel so sorry and ashamed toward those who believed in and supported me, as I don’t think I looked around my surroundings wisely.”
