Yoo Hae-jin Selected as the Face of State-Designated Folk Liquor 'Hwanggeumju'!

VAST Entertainment announced today (15th) that Yoo Hae-jin has been chosen as the model for ‘Hwanggeumju’, a folk liquor brand under Woorisul Company.

‘Hwanggeumju’ is a representative folk liquor from the Gyeongju region with roots dating back to the Silla period. It is a state-designated folk liquor recorded in various ancient texts, including ‘Samguk Sagi’ and ‘Samguk Yusa’. After production halted in 2019, it is now drawing significant attention with news of its relaunch after about seven years.

This campaign focuses on delivering both the historical significance and the public appeal of traditional liquor. In particular, Yoo Hae-jin’s signature friendly and authentic image is expected to create great synergy with the brand’s direction.

Yoo Hae-jin is an actor who has long been loved by the public for his solid acting skills and unique presence. At the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards held on the 8th, he once again proved his deep acting prowess and wide popularity by winning the Grand Prize in the movie category for the film .

Meanwhile, Yoo Hae-jin is set to meet audiences again in the second half of this year through his upcoming film .

The film tracks the suspicions and the mastermind behind the 8.15 sniping incident that shocked Korea. Yoo Hae-jin is expected to show another acting transformation, playing the role of a police inspector from the Central Station who witnessed the incident firsthand.
