Actress Han So-hee has departed for the Cannes Film Festival, sparking curiosity about whether she and her former partner will reunite in the city.
On the 15th, Han So-hee left through Incheon International Airport to attend the 79th Cannes Film Festival. Invited as a global brand ambassador, she is expected to participate in official events, including walking the red carpet.
Han So-hee turned heads with her bold airport fashion, pairing a halter neck top with black pants. She greeted the press with a bright smile and relaxed poses before heading to the departure gate.
Meanwhile, sightings of Ryu Jun-yeol already in Cannes have been making waves online. On the 13th, Natsumi Kokawa, CEO of the Japanese film distributor Elas Films, shared an encounter with Ryu Jun-yeol on social media. According to the post, when Kokawa mentioned the film Heavy Snow starring Han So-hee, Ryu Jun-yeol reportedly replied cheerfully, “Of course I know it since it is Han So-hee’s movie. It is really fun.”
Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol confirmed their relationship in March 2024 after their Hawaii date was captured, but they broke up just two weeks into their public relationship following allegations of “transfer dating.” Now, all eyes are on whether the two will run into each other in Cannes.
Currently, Han So-hee is filming the Netflix series Solo Leveling alongside Byeon Woo-seok and is awaiting the release of the movie Intern. Ryu Jun-yeol is set to meet viewers through his upcoming Netflix series Field Mouse and Outback.
