Jang Keun-suk from ‘Gugidong Friends’ has shared his honest thoughts on marriage.
In the May 15 episode of tvN’s ‘Gugidong Friends’, Jang Keun-suk opened up to his same-age friends about his desire to get married.
While celebrating Choi Daniel’s birthday at a luxury restaurant, Jang Keun-suk revealed that consulting a wedding planner is on his bucket list.
“Since marriage is a realistic possibility, I want to visit a wedding hall and get a quote to see the difference between my dream wedding and a realistic one,” he explained. “I want to check everything from the flowers to the layout, and even decide what music I’d walk in to.”

His friends were surprised by his detailed plans. When Jang Do-yeon asked if there was someone special, Jang Keun-suk confessed, “Not exactly. Most of my friends are already married, and since I’m the only one left, I’ve started thinking that I want to experience it too.”
During a follow-up interview, he added, “I feel like the thought that ‘it might be time to stop running away’ is starting to creep in. I think it’s time to consider it seriously rather than taking it lightly.”
Jang Keun-suk, who often discusses marriage with his friends, noted, “Once you hit your 40s, most of the people around you are married with children, so it’s only natural to feel lonely. The number of friends available to meet gradually decreases.”

He specifically shared, “I want to create my own team and build a family that I can keep healthy. I think that’s my final bucket list item.”
When Lee Da-hee asked if he’d marry immediately if he found the right person, he replied, “If I’m certain that this person is my ‘team’, then I’m ready anytime.” Choi Daniel joked, “Hearing it called a ‘team’ makes me want to get married too,” and Jang Do-yeon agreed, saying that the idea of a “team” sounds different from the usual notion of a married couple.
