Tensions are heating up in Season 31 of ‘I Am Solo,’ and even MC Song Hae-na is showing her discomfort with the cast’s behavior.
In the ENA and SBS Plus broadcast on the 13th, the psychological warfare between Sun-ja and Young-sook over Kyung-soo continued.
During the “Super Date Ticket” mission, Young-sook got confused about the direction right before the finish line and fell, resulting in Sun-ja winning the date ticket.
However, the atmosphere remained icy back at the lodging. Young-sook showed her injured hand and asked, “Is this a wound of glory?” while Ok-soon and Jung-hee sided with her.
Young-sook specifically claimed, “I feel like someone tripped me,” which left Song Hae-na frustrated while watching the VCR. “Why are they really like this?” she exclaimed, adding, “Watch your words,” unable to hide her annoyance.
Defconn was also surprised, noting, “It’s been a long time since Song Hae-na has spoken to the female contestants like that.” He added, “It’s a sense of kinship because they’re so close. Viewers will understand when they see it.”
Meanwhile, Sun-ja was listening to the entire conversation from outside the door. In an interview with the production team, she teared up, admitting, “Since I could hear the conversation, I found myself staying in front of the door without realizing it.”
Due to extreme stress, Sun-ja eventually suffered from stomach cramps and was rushed to the emergency room in an ambulance called by the staff.
Viewers have reacted strongly since the broadcast. Some commented, “This is so uncomfortable,” “They’re only focused on competing even though someone is sick,” and “It feels like they’re ganging up on her.”
With repeated scenes of some female cast members talking about Sun-ja behind her back, allegations of “bullying” are now surfacing on online communities and social media.
Amidst this, Song Hae-na drew attention by sharing a clip of the broadcast on her SNS story. The video showed the MCs looking bewildered by the Season 31 cast’s actions, featuring captions like “Group scream” and “Sun-ja needs to come in quickly!”
