Singer and actress Son Dam Bi has officially addressed the rumors regarding the abandonment of her pet cats.
On the 15th, a video titled “[First Reveal] Son Dam Bi’s sense-exploding emotional interior completed by her own footwork” was uploaded to her YouTube channel.
Having recently moved into a duplex, Son Dam Bi shared, “It took about three months to finish the construction, and I think it’s been over a month since I moved in. I’m going to show you how I decorated it,” as she introduced her home alongside her close friend, a designer.
Son Dam Bi mentioned that she decorated the house with eco-friendly materials for her daughter. Her home is also fully equipped with plenty of space and items for her two pet cats. Pointing out cat accessories that look like interior decor, she explained, “Everyone asks what these are, but they are cat scratchers and houses. People think I just did it for the interior design, but that’s not the case. Egon only stays here.”
The designer praised Son Dam Bi’s aesthetic sense, saying, “I’m so grateful to Egon for always using them like this. Dam Bi is really great at searching. When she shows me a cat tower and says, ‘This is pretty,’ I wonder where she even found something like that.”
One side of the wall featured a robot vacuum and dedicated spaces for the cats. Son Dam Bi proudly shared, “Cat supplies are more numerous than I thought, and the litter boxes are large. I asked my friend a lot about how to block the smell while keeping the design pretty. I had a lot of worries because there was so much stuff. This is the robot vacuum storage and the other two are the cat zones. The way this is hidden is just so sensible. It’s a space where the cats can enter.”
She then expressed her frustration to her subscribers, saying, “Subscribers, I still have my cats. People keep asking where they went, but do you really think I’d abandon them? I love them so much.” The suspicions of abandonment had spread because the cats hadn’t appeared on her social media or YouTube for a while. Son Dam Bi explained, “Since only the baby appears in the videos, people keep asking where the cats are. My friend loves my cats so much that she helped create a special space for them.”
