Actor Ahn Jae-wook and Choi Hyun-joo are celebrating a huge milestone: 4,000 days of marriage!
On the 13th, Choi Hyun-joo took to her social media to share a photo of a beautiful flower basket gifted to her by her husband, Ahn Jae-wook, to commemorate the occasion.
She expressed her gratitude, writing, “I’m so touched. It’s already been 4,000 days since we got married! Thank you,” and added the romantic phrase, “In Liebe verreint bis in den Tod” (Become one through love beyond death).
This special phrase is actually a line from the musical ‘The Last Kiss,’ which the couple starred in together. Ahn Jae-wook added an extra touch of romance by writing the same line in the card accompanying the flowers.
The couple first hit it off while working on ‘The Last Kiss’ in 2014. After officially confirming their relationship in January 2015, they surprised fans by announcing their marriage just two months later. Overcoming an 11-year age gap, they tied the knot in June of that year and now have two children.
