Lovelyz’s Lee Mi-joo recently took on the challenge of tasting the trendiest foods of 2026!
On the 15th, a video titled “2026 Trend Food Relay Mukbang | Buldak Naengmyeon, Random Bibimbap, Lotteria Dijinda Donkatsu, Yeopgi Chicken Feet, Pringles Choco Block, Yellow Cheese Chips, Ube, Butter Rice Cake” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “Just Lee Mi-joo.”
During the episode, Lee Mi-joo expressed her excitement, saying, “I heard rumors that I’d be trying some trend items.” The production team confirmed this, revealing they had prepared several rounds of food for her.
The first round featured Butter Rice Cake. When Lee Mi-joo mentioned she had tried butter rice cakes before, the staff clarified that this was “K-Butter Rice Cake” and that they even had to “open-run” to get them.
Comparing it to the original Shanghai Butter Rice Cake, Lee Mi-joo gave an honest critique, noting that “the butter scent isn’t very strong, and the crispiness feels different.” She added, “It would have been tasty if I didn’t know the original.” She concluded by saying, “Still, I think it’ll be a short-lived trend. They should probably develop other menus quickly.”
