Jun Ji-hyun, Yoo Jae-suk, and Nam Chang-hee Bond Over Stock Market Struggles: “Let’s Go KOSDAQ 3000!”

Jun Ji-hyun, Yoo Jae-suk, and Nam Chang-hee Bond Over Stock Market Struggles:

Actor Jun Ji-hyun, Ji Chang-wook, and entertainers Yoo Jae-suk and Nam Chang-hee found common ground while chatting about their stock investments.

On the 16th, a video titled “Outing is just an excuse” was released on the YouTube channel ‘dduddu’ as part of the ‘Pinggyego’ series. The episode featured Yoo Jae-suk and Nam Chang-hee, along with the lead actors of the movie ‘Gunche’—Jun Ji-hyun, Ji Chang-wook, and Koo Kyo-hwan—who enjoyed a lighthearted and pleasant conversation.

The five of them naturally shifted the conversation to stock investing. Nam Chang-hee confidently started by saying, “I’m a total investor. A super ant!”

However, he soon admitted, “The returns aren’t that great. It’s not negative, but the KOSPI has risen so much. I only hold KOSDAQ stocks.” He then made everyone laugh by shouting, “KOSDAQ will rise soon. Fighting, KOSDAQ! Let’s go KOSDAQ 3000!”

He continued, “It’s driving me crazy. Only mine doesn’t go up,” lamenting that while others are doubling their money, his return is only 10%. He added that he feels a sense of relative deprivation when others make 100% while he makes 10%, a sentiment many could relate to.

Ji Chang-wook, Jun Ji-hyun, and Yoo Jae-suk also honestly shared their investment experiences. Ji Chang-wook explained that he tends to invest in companies he believes in, while Jun Ji-hyun shared that she is the type to strictly sell and take profits once her target is reached.

In particular, when asked about his investment style, Yoo Jae-suk brought laughs by answering, “I put a lot of affection into the company. Even when there’s bad news, I cling to that company. I’m the type to maintain a relationship with the company as if it were my own child.”

He humorously wrapped up by describing himself as a “typical ant investor.”
