Korea’s hottest civil servant, the “Chungju City PR Man” (Kim Sun-tae), and the music industry’s visual queen, NMIXX’s Sullyoon, met at the JYP Entertainment building for some legendary, spicy banter!
In a recent interview on Chungju City’s official YouTube channel, the PR man pushed Sullyoon with his signature blunt style. When asked, “When did you first realize you were pretty?” Sullyoon didn’t blink and coolly admitted she’s a natural beauty, saying, “Honestly, since I could understand words. I was really pretty as a baby,” leaving everyone in laughter. She is indeed the legend who famously passed auditions for all three major agencies: SM, JYP, and YG.
The PR man’s “forced jokes” reached a peak during a chat about her trainee days. While asking which member progressed the fastest, he jokingly asked if Sullyoon’s growth was so rapid that the other members actually suffered. Sullyoon handled the wild question with wit and sense, showing off her variety show skills.
Sullyoon also took a moment to promote NMIXX’s 5th mini album title track, “Heavy Serenade.” Describing it as a song with a twist that goes from a dreamy intro to a powerful rock sound, she performed a short acapella snippet on the spot. After witnessing her unique tone and vocal skills firsthand, the Chungju City PR man dropped the jokes and looked genuinely impressed, ramping up expectations for the new track.
