Episode 40 of E-channel’s original web variety show ‘Hyungsuda’ Season 2 (hereafter ‘Hyungsuda 2’), airing May 15 at 7 PM on the YouTube channel ‘Detectives’ Chat’, will feature Kim Nam-il and Japanese actress Fujii Mina.
In this episode, Ahn Jung-hwan raises expectations by telling Kwon Il-yong, who is visiting Japan for the first time, that he plans to take him to a “special place.” The three visit the oldest izakaya in Japan, where they meet Fujii Mina. Fujii Mina makes them blush, saying, “Ahn Jung-hwan and Kim Nam-il are famous even in Japan. They are well-known as handsome soccer players who are incredibly good at the sport, so it feels like I’ve met them before.” To this, Kim Nam-il humbly replies, “Not me, but Jung-hwan hyung was a handsome man back then,” while Ahn Jung-hwan sparks laughter by firing back, “Nam-il has a lot of bad rumors.”
In the ‘Today’s Death Row Prisoner’ segment, the show introduces a figure behind a case that shook the Japanese archipelago. The subject is Takahiro Shiraishi, born in 1990, who was executed in 2025. Kwon Il-yong emphasizes the severity of the case, stating, “I am also very shocked.”

Adding to the shock, the account holder sent a message to a younger sister via Twitter 20 days before the report, asking, “Shall I prepare for you to be able to die?” The sister, who was 23 at the time, suffered from schizophrenia and was receiving treatment at a welfare facility after her mother’s passing. However, she disappeared, leaving only a letter that said, “I’m sorry, brother.”
The brother reached out to those who had chatted with the suspicious account holder, asking for help in finding his missing sister. During this process, a woman who had posted about her own depression reported being contacted by the account holder and meeting a man who appeared to be in his late 20s. Although he claimed he had also failed a suicide attempt and offered to help, she felt uneasy and sensed that his words were lies. Following an investigation, the man was identified as Takahiro Shiraishi, a resident of Kanagawa Prefecture near Tokyo. He was already on probation for charges of connecting women to prostitution via Twitter.
Strange smells, mysterious boxes, and women’s shoes were discovered at Shiraishi’s home. When detectives asked about the missing persons, Shiraishi pointed toward a cooler. A human skull was found inside, and most shockingly, there were a total of eight coolers in the house. Subsequently, multiple skulls and over 240 bone fragments were discovered across seven of the coolers.
The episode also teases the introduction of a similar case that occurred in Korea in 2025, further piquing curiosity. The full details of the case, including how many victims Shiraishi targeted and the similar Korean incident, will be revealed on ‘Hyungsuda 2’.
