Singer Do Won-kyung showered her junior, Sohyang, with high praise.
The May 16 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s ‘Immortal Songs’ featured a special dedicated to artist Han Young-ae.
During the episode, Do Won-kyung appeared quite nervous, mentioning that the performer lineup was “too competitive.”
She shared, “Watching the rehearsals, I really felt that Korean singers are the absolute best. Their skills are so incredible that I just decided to let go of my ambitions.”
The studio reacted by joking, “There are always people who play it down like this during their first appearance.” Sohyang, who had also watched Do Won-kyung’s rehearsal, countered, “Since our senior said she let go, I don’t think she actually did at all.”
In response, Do Won-kyung expressed her awe of Sohyang’s performance, saying, “I was completely intimidated by Sohyang. Her mouth is so big! It’s like 10 times the size. I felt like my face was being sucked in. I really should not mess around.”
