Comedian Lee Sun-min sparked a wave of suspicion from his fellow members after revealing his actual age.
The May 16 episode of MBC’s ‘Hangout with Yoo’ featured the ‘War of Money in Changwon’ special.
Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Heo Kyung-hwan, and Yang Sang-guk visited Joo Woo-jae’s hometown, Changwon. Yang Sang-guk introduced Lee Sun-min, a junior from Gyeongsang-do, who shocked everyone by revealing he was born in 1988, the Year of the Dragon.
The members immediately pushed back, saying, “Stop lying!” Haha couldn’t believe it, asking, “You’re the same age as G-Dragon?” Lee Sun-min wittily replied, “That’s right. I’m the same age as G-Dragon. Is there a problem, hyung?” bringing laughter to the set.
The debate didn’t stop there. When Yoo Jae-suk asked about his family, Lee Sun-min doubled down, explaining that his first sister was born in ’81, the second in ’84, the third in ’86, and he was born in ’88.
Haha then asked if he was also the same age as Kwanghee. Lee Sun-min replied, “Kwanghee and GD are both the same age. Moon Geun-young is my older sister,” which completely flipped the mood. Haha exploded, shouting, “What on earth are you talking about?” while Yoo Jae-suk got defensive, saying, “Don’t lie. I met Geun-young recently.” Haha seriously reminded him, “Moon Geun-young is our Nation’s Little Sister,” and a bewildered Yoo Jae-suk told him, “Seriously, just get out of the car.”
As Lee Sun-min continued to insist, “She really is my sister, hyung,” Haha warned, “Don’t touch Moon Geun-young. Don’t call her your sister,” leaving the scene in bursts of laughter.
Meanwhile, Lee Sun-min has been increasing his presence through various YouTube web variety shows, gaining attention for his strong impression and mature visuals.
