NMIXX’s Bae and Haewon exploded with “handsome-pretty” charms while rocking a Romeo and Juliet concept.
NMIXX (Haewon, Bae) and LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Kazuha) appeared on the May 16 broadcast of tvN’s “Amazing Saturday.”
Following the partner concept, Haewon and Bae dressed up as Romeo and Juliet, with Bae taking on the role of Romeo and Haewon as Juliet. The duo sparked laughter by comparing Bae’s short hair to Choi Yang-rak, joking, “If there’s Romeo and Juliet in novels, we’re the modern-day Choi Yang-rak and Pang Hyun-sook.” Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Chaewon and Kazuha transformed into the cartoon characters Shin-chan and Shiro.
Bae fully immersed herself in the Romeo persona, declaring, “I’m Juliet’s fantastic partner, Bae!” Boom laughed, saying, “I wish Bae would relax a bit. She’s way too into the character.” Haewon struggled with Bae’s obsession, mentioning, “I think I’m going crazy. She’s been like this since the makeup shop.” Bae admitted her excitement, saying, “I’m so excited to wear these clothes. This is fun!”
Haewon then shared the news that NMIXX is making a comeback on May 11 with their 5th mini album “Heavy Serenade.” Bae added to the fun with an energetic introduction of the new song, saying, “Heavy feels very heavy and strong, while Serenade feels emotional and faint. What’s with this combination? Aren’t you curious?”
