Noh Sang-hyun has officially entered his villain era in ‘The Grand Prince’s Wife of the 21st Century’, threatening Gong Seung-yeon by using her son as leverage.
In the final episode of MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Grand Prince’s Wife of the 21st Century’ aired on the 16th, Queen Dowager Yoon Yi-rang (played by Gong Seung-yeon) found herself under pressure from Min Jung-woo (played by Noh Sang-hyun).
During the episode, Yoon Yi-rang met her father, Yoon Sung-won (played by Cho Jae-yoon), and confessed that her son was aware of everything. She told him, “So please, do not commit any more sins. You no longer have a child,” before leaving.
However, Yoon Sung-won revealed a shocking truth: “Your Highness, Prime Minister Min is the one who called the Grand Prince there, knowing that an explosion would occur.”

As Yoon Yi-rang left, she crossed paths with Min Jung-woo. While escorting her to the palace, he requested that she voice her opposition to the abolition of the monarchy.
When Yoon Yi-rang claimed she had “no power,” Min Jung-woo clarified, “I’m not telling you to use power. Just make it seem like the abolition of the monarchy isn’t the royal family’s opinion, but rather the King’s arbitrary decision.”
When Yoon Yi-rang asked what would happen if she refused, Min Jung-woo dropped a cold threat: “Do you want to make your only son a criminal, following in your father’s footsteps?”
