Singer Pyeon Seung-yeop appeared on MBN’s ‘Kim Ju-ha’s Day & Night’ on the afternoon of the 16th, where he discussed his experience on the program ‘Unknown Legend’.
During the broadcast, Pyeon Seung-yeop revealed his motivation for joining ‘Unknown Legend’, stating, “It was difficult whenever I felt like I was being forgotten by people.” He added, “I wanted to show everyone that I am still an active singer. To be honest, I didn’t think I could win a single round in a singing competition against younger artists.”
He further explained, “I performed my song in the first round. I’ve been a singer for decades, but I only have one hit song, ‘Chan Chan Chan’. I sang it because I wanted to leave a lasting impression. I intended to bow out gracefully, but I ended up advancing.”
Pyeon Seung-yeop gained immense popularity with his 1992 release, ‘Chan Chan Chan’.
