K-pop sensation IDID has clinched the Hot Trend Award at “ASEA 2026”!
The seven-member group IDID (Jang Yong-hoon, Kim Min-jae, Park Won-bin, Choo Yu-chan, Park Sung-hyun, Baek Jun-hyuk, Jung Se-min) proudly accepted the Hot Trend Award at the “3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026” (hereinafter ASEA 2026), held on the 16th at Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
Launched in 2024 and celebrating its third year, “ASEA” is a prestigious global awards ceremony that annually honors artists who wield significant influence across Asia and worldwide, showcasing top-tier performances.
Making their debut appearance at “ASEA” this year, IDID not only delivered a captivating performance for global K-pop fans but also earned recognition as a rising rookie group leading the K-pop scene. Their dazzling achievement of securing the Hot Trend Award brought immense pride to their dedicated fandom, “WITHID.”
Leader Jang Yong-hoon shared his heartfelt sentiments on behalf of IDID, stating, “It’s truly joyful and an honor to stand on the ‘ASEA’ stage for the first time since our debut. Receiving the Hot Trend Award makes this moment even more meaningful and fills me with gratitude. Baek Jun-hyuk thrilled fans by announcing, “We are making our comeback on the 27th with our single album [FLY!]” He added, “As it’s an album that captures IDID’s free and brilliant youthful energy, we ask for a lot of interest and love. WITHID! We are preparing very hard, so please look forward to it, and let’s fly even higher together in the future. IDID delivered a stage packed with energy, performing “Heaven Smiles” and the title track “PUSH BACK” from their first single album “PUSH BACK,” followed by “제멋대로 찬란하게” (Selfish and Brilliant) from their debut album “I did it.” Starting with Park Sung-hyun’s effortlessly cool dance performance, IDID appeared showcasing their boyish visuals in casual styles. They impressed with their unwavering live vocals using hand mics, creating an immersive and dynamic stage experience. As IDID moved to the center stage, engaging the audience, fans at the venue responded with enthusiastic cheers, while also expressing high anticipation for the IDID Single Album [FLY!].
IDID is a 7-member boy group that debuted last year through Starship’s super-large global project “Debut’s Plan.” They caused a seismic shift in the 5th generation idol market by clinching first place on a music show just 12 days after their debut. They are now building immense anticipation by announcing their comeback on the 27th with the IDID Single Album [FLY!], approximately six months after “PUSH BACK.”
