SEVENTEEN’s official characters, MINITEEN, are getting ready for early summer by opening their very own ice cream shop in Seongsu-dong!
According to Pledis Entertainment on the 17th, MINITEEN’s third pop-up store, “Ice Cream with MINITEEN,” will be held in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, for 11 days from May 23 to June 2.
This pop-up is designed around the daily lives of MINITEEN running an ice cream shop. Visitors will be greeted by an ice cream truck at the outdoor entrance and MINITEEN characters dressed as employees. Inside, a large photo zone and a cozy lounge will create the perfect summer vacation vibe.
There are also exciting collaborations to look forward to! In partnership with F&B brand “Soft Bar,” custom ice cream topped with MINITEEN cookies will be available. Plus, fans can snap special four-cut photos with the characters at the Photoism booth.
The merch lineup is just as sweet! The second-floor merch shop will sell cute and practical items, including ice cream cone-designed keyrings and magnets, ice cream truck cooler bags, and DIY acrylic stands. These items will also be available later via the Weverse Shop.
An animation series previously released on SEVENTEEN’s official YouTube channel already built up the hype by showcasing the cheerful daily lives of MINITEEN running their ice cream truck.
MINITEEN characters were created with the direct participation of the SEVENTEEN members to reflect each of their unique personalities. The characters have already proven their global IP power, drawing over 280,000 visitors across 24 cities during their first pop-up last June.
