NCT’s Taeyong has revealed explosive wildness through the music video teaser for “WYLD,” the title track of his first full-length album.
According to SM Entertainment on the 17th, the music video teaser for “WYLD” was released at midnight on the SMTOWN YouTube channel. The video instantly captured the attention of global fans by showcasing Taeyong’s instinctive charisma within a tense atmosphere.
The title track “WYLD” is a hip-hop song inspired by the instinctive movements of wild animals. It features a sophisticated blend of intense bass, heavy percussion, and experimental sounds to maximize raw energy and a three-dimensional sense of space.
In this new track, Taeyong wildly expresses his identity as an artist that has been condensed over a long period. The lyrics convey a confident ambition to move forward toward his goals without stopping, while hard-hitting rapping and explosive vocals harmonize with an addictive rhythm to provide a thrilling auditory experience.
The music video is also generating high expectations. This work interprets the instincts latent within humans through Taeyong’s own energy and visuals, densely capturing the moment when opposing elements of instinct and control collide. The sophisticated cinematography, reminiscent of a fashion film, is expected to further highlight Taeyong’s unrivaled aura.
Meanwhile, Taeyong’s first full-length album “WYLD” will be released on various music platforms on May 18 at 6 PM, and the music video for the title track will be unveiled simultaneously.
