Singer and actor Park Jihoon has successfully wrapped up his music show promotions, proving his undeniable presence as a solo artist.
Starting with Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on the 30th of last month, Park Jihoon delivered stunning comeback stages on KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank’, MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’, and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’.
Returning to the music scene after about three years on the 29th of last month with his first single album ‘RE:FLECT’, Park Jihoon showcased a more mature musical color through the title track ‘Bodyelse’. ‘Bodyelse’ captures the moment of realizing that a strange feeling starting in daily life was actually ‘you’, featuring a highly addictive chorus.
Park Jihoon completed the dreamy and sophisticated vibe of ‘Bodyelse’ with a performance that was both flexible and disciplined, paired with sensory stage production. His detailed choreography and delicate facial expressions maximized the immersion of the stage, earning high praise from viewers.
In particular, he caught everyone’s attention by maintaining the legendary ‘Wink Boy’ visuals that first went viral during his ‘Produce 101’ days.
His achievements on the music charts were equally impressive. The title track ranked high on the Melon Top 100 and Hot 100, while the B-side tracks ‘Watercolor’ and ‘I can’t hold your hand anymore’ also successfully entered the charts. Notably, all tracks from the album appeared on the Bugs real-time chart, proving Park Jihoon’s enduring popularity.
Having demonstrated his deepened expressiveness and stage presence through these music shows, Park Jihoon plans to continue communicating with his fans through various activities.
Meanwhile, Park Jihoon will showcase a different side of himself as Private Kang Seong-jae, who holds a kitchen knife instead of a gun, in the TVING original ‘Become a Legend of the Cooking Soldier’, premiering on the 11th.
