Lee Ha-neul Reported Again! Police Visit His Gopchang Restaurant During Live Stream

DJ DOC member Lee Ha-neul shared his frustration after police arrived at his gopchang restaurant while he was hosting a live broadcast.

On May 16, Lee Ha-neul was DJing and chatting with fans in real-time on his YouTube channel, “Catching King Lee Ha-neul.” During the stream, police were dispatched to the scene following a noise complaint.

The broadcast captured Lee Ha-neul’s conversation with the officers. He stated, “The decibel level isn’t even that high, and I’m just playing music inside the store,” adding, “Complaints like this that bother busy public officials are the real nuisance.”

He further claimed, “The shop right next door says there’s no problem,” and suggested that “people seem to be reporting me repeatedly simply because they don’t like my political leanings.”

Lee Ha-neul explained that the sound might seem louder depending on the camera’s position and moved the camera back to demonstrate the actual noise level inside the restaurant.

This establishment was previously embroiled in controversy back in February. Allegations of violating the Food Sanitation Act were raised after a video surfaced of Lee Ha-neul and Jung Jae-yong singing during a fan meeting for actress Kim Gyu-ri.

At the time, Lee Ha-neul clarified, “It wasn’t illegal business. Kim Gyu-ri reserved the entire venue for her fans, and we sang as a form of fan service.” He also warned of legal action against rumors that he received a two-month business suspension, calling them false.
