On the 16th, his agency THEBLACKLABEL released an album sampler video for Taeyang’s fourth full-length album, ‘QUINTESSENCE’.
The approximately 3-minute sampler features snippets of 10 tracks from ‘QUINTESSENCE’, including the title song ‘LIVE FAST DIE SLOW’, paired with stunning visuals. Fans can look forward to Taeyang’s soulful vocals spanning various genres, with a perfect balance ranging from high-energy beats to smooth R&B.
Taeyang has confirmed the release of his 4th studio album ‘QUINTESSENCE’ and the title track ‘LIVE FAST DIE SLOW’ on the 18th. He has been building anticipation by sequentially releasing various teasing content. In particular, the music video teaser highlights his unmatched performance and energy, promising to once again prove his power as an all-rounder artist.
In a comeback documentary, Taeyang shared the inspiration behind choosing ‘QUINTESSENCE’—a word meaning the purest essence—as the title and direction of his new album. The documentary showcases his sincere journey of creating new music through collaborations with numerous producers and artists, marking his first full-length album in 9 years.
Meanwhile, the title track ‘LIVE FAST DIE SLOW’, which captures all of Taeyang’s seasoned artistry, will be released on the 18th at 6 PM.
