LUCY Rocks KSPO Dome with Epic Sing-Alongs! Choi Sangyeop Says,

LUCY (Shin Yechan, Choi Sangyeop, Cho Wonsang, and Shin Kwangil) met a total of 25,000 fans over two days during their solo concert, ‘2026 LUCY 9TH Concert ‘Island”, held at the KSPO Dome (formerly Gymnastics Arena) in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on May 16 and 17.

On the final day of the Seoul show on the 17th at 4 PM, the curtains opened to a shower of flower-petal-like confetti as LUCY kicked things off with ‘Germination’. Shin Yechan’s violin melodies hit hard from the start. When their hit debut songs ‘Flowering’ and ‘Hero’ began, the venue erupted in cheers and massive sing-alongs.

The members also showcased their unique charms through solo stages, including Shin Kwangil’s ‘Gugu Jeoljeol’, Shin Yechan’s ‘Little Star’, Cho Wonsang’s ‘Porch Light’, and Choi Sangyeop’s ‘Small Star’. A violin and bass battle between Shin Yechan and Cho Wonsang was a highlight that captured both eyes and ears, a sight only possible with LUCY. The energy peaked toward the end. As ‘Chameleon’ followed by hits like ‘Ani Geunde Jinjja’ and ‘Some Day in the 21st Century’ played, fans stood up to sing along and enjoy the moment. Choi Sangyeop confidently stated, “I waited for this performance as much as you all did. We really put everything we have into this. We’ll make sure there’s no room for boredom, providing both visual and auditory pleasure.”

This concert featured a narrative connected to ‘LUCY Island’, which marked the band’s beginning, carrying the message: ‘Scattered petals blow back to the island and dye us in light’. Notably, this was LUCY’s first time performing at the KSPO Dome, proving their solid status and public influence within the domestic band scene. Since their debut, LUCY has shown incredible ticket power by selling out all eight of their solo concerts in record time. They’ve demonstrated a textbook example of ‘step-by-step growth’, gradually expanding their venue scale from Blue Square Mastercard Hall to Jangchung Gymnasium and Ticketlink Live Arena. The event was even more meaningful as it marked their first full-group performance in about one year and nine months since member Shin Kwangil’s discharge from military service.
