Singer Byeol Sarang is officially becoming a mom!
Byeol Sarang shared the happy news directly via her official fan cafe on the 17th. She is currently 16 weeks pregnant and has entered a stable period. The baby’s nickname is “Ppogi,” and it has been revealed that they are expecting a boy.
“I thought long and hard about when to share this,” she wrote, adding, “I wanted my fans to be the first to know.” She expressed her current feelings, saying, “A new life has come to me. I am spending each day with a sense of wonder, to the point where it still doesn’t feel real.”
She also opened up about the challenges of early pregnancy. Byeol Sarang confessed, “My body and mind changed a lot, and I became sensitive to small changes. In the beginning, the pelvic pain was so severe that there were days when it was hard to walk.” However, she shared that her condition is gradually improving and that she actually gains energy when she is on stage.
She didn’t forget to thank her fans, saying, “The time I spent singing on stage and the support from fans made me who I am today.” She added a heartfelt message: “While the pace of my activities might change for a while, my love for music and my fans will remain the same.”
Finally, she asked for support, saying, “Please watch over us warmly so that I can stay healthy with my baby.”
Byeol Sarang debuted in 2017 with the single “Tear Flower” and rose to fame by placing 6th in TV Chosun’s “Miss Trot 2” and making it into the TOP 7 of MBN’s “Active Singer.” She married her partner, who is one year older, last September, revealing at the time that she had reunited with her first love whom she first met at age 14.
