Entertainer Jun Hyun-moo revealed that he managed to adjust his schedule to join the KBS World Cup broadcast.
In the KBS 2TV show ‘Boss in the Mirror’ aired on the 17th, Jun Hyun-moo shared the reason behind his decision to join the World Cup broadcast.
Lee Kyung-kyu appeared on the show to support Nam Hyun-jong, who has become the main caster for KBS’s World Cup coverage.
When Eom Ji-in mentioned main casters from other networks, Kim Sung-joo and Bae Sung-jae, Lee Kyung-kyu jokingly teased them, saying, “I came here to talk smack. I just won’t meet them.”

Regarding Kim Sung-joo, Lee Kyung-kyu commented, “He has done so much variety that everything feels like variety. No matter what he does, it can look similar. That is a downside that comes with doing it for a long time.”
As for Bae Sung-jae, Lee Kyung-kyu noted, “He has a lot of football knowledge. Nam Hyun-jong is more handsome than Bae Sung-jae. Bae Sung-jae has a flat face.”
Nam Hyun-jong practiced broadcasting the free kick goal by Ha Seok-ju during the 1998 France World Cup match between South Korea and Mexico in front of Lee Kyung-kyu.
Lee Kyung-kyu advised, “When it is a free kick, you need to build up the anticipation for who will take the shot.” Lee Jae-hoo also added that it is important to raise the tension as much as possible.

Nam Hyun-jong then broadcasted the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup match between South Korea and Portugal.
Lee Kyung-kyu felt it was “weak” and “not his own emotion,” even mentioning Nam Hyun-jong’s experience with rental fraud to try and evoke more emotion.
Nam Hyun-jong expressed that the chemistry with his broadcasting partner Lee Young-pyo is not easy. Lee Kyung-kyu advised him to keep trying without giving up.
Lee Jae-hoo mentioned Jun Hyun-moo’s weightlifting broadcast during the Paris Olympics, saying, “Hyun-moo was fearless. He doesn’t get intimidated,” and encouraged Nam to be just as bold.

Lee Kyung-kyu told Nam Hyun-jong that he needs Jun Hyun-moo and tried to recruit him personally.
While Jun Hyun-moo initially hesitated, saying it wasn’t his field, he revealed in the studio that he has indeed joined the World Cup broadcast.
Jun Hyun-moo shared that he currently has 10 fixed programs and often records two a day, making it very difficult to adjust his schedule.
He explained that after receiving calls and persuasion from the sports center, he managed to adjust his schedule to participate in the World Cup broadcast.
Jun Hyun-moo added, “I decided to join to be of some help to KBS, which made a courageous decision for the viewers’ right to watch.”
