After kicking off the series last month with “Vow,” he is further solidifying his musical identity by showcasing a voice infused with the deep Korean sentiment of han.
“Fate” is a remake of the title track from Lee Sun-hee’s 13th album, “Puberty,” released in 2005. It is hailed as an immortal masterpiece loved by the public for its oriental melody and heartbreaking lyrics.
Kim Ki-tae has already received rave reviews for his reinterpretations of “Fate” on various programs, including the JTBC show “Sing Again 2 – Nameless Singer” (where he took the win), KBS 2TV’s “Immortal Songs,” and KBS 1TV’s “Open Concert.” The related videos have become massive hits, nearly reaching 5 million views on YouTube.
Anticipation is building for Kim Ki-tae’s unique husky voice and profound reinterpretation in this official remake. His voice, which deeply expresses Korean soul, is expected to maximize the emotion of the “Oriental Series” and touch the hearts of many listeners.
A leading vocalist in Korea, Kim Ki-tae continues to be active across music, performances, and broadcasting. Following his “Man Series” and “Alcohol Series,” he is now building his own unique musical world with the launch of the “Oriental Series.” After once again proving his overwhelming vocal power on MBC’s “The Firsts,” Kim Ki-tae will embark on a national tour for “The Firsts” in June. The tour will start in Seoul on June 6th and 7th, followed by Busan on the 20th and Daegu on the 27th.
