Group SeeYa shared their thoughts on attending a university event as part of their 20th anniversary reunion celebrations.
On the May 18 episode of KBS CoolFM’s ‘Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show’, SeeYa appeared as guests in the ‘Park Myung-soo’s Financier’ segment.
Having performed at a university festival over the weekend, SeeYa revealed, “The response was amazing. We were actually a bit worried because the students are basically the age of our children.” To this, Park Myung-soo joked, “I was trying not to bring up the ‘age of children’ part!”
Nam Gyu-ri added, “There were people of all ages, but the ones in the front were very young. At first, they looked at us with curiosity, but as the atmosphere heated up, they sang along to everything. We were so grateful, and they were so loud! They even requested songs that made us wonder, ‘Do they really know this one?’ and then they sang along.”
Park Myung-soo praised them, saying, “SeeYa is still going strong!” SeeYa laughed, adding, “It was surprising that they asked for songs we hadn’t even prepared.” Park Myung-soo noted, “If university students love you, that’s true popularity. Which songs did you perform? You have so many hits.”
SeeYa explained, “We started with ‘Love’s Greeting’, followed by a SeeYa medley, and we even did ‘Shoes’ a cappella upon request. We also performed covers like ‘Never Ending Story’, ‘Running in the Sky’, and ‘Festival’, as well as our new song.” Park Myung-soo reacted, “It must have been wild!”
