Group FLARE U has officially surpassed 180,000 copies in first-week sales!
According to Hanteo Chart, Korea’s largest album sales tracking site, FLARE U’s first mini album “YOUTH ERROR,” released on May 13, recorded 186,825 copies sold within its first week as of May 20.
The group nearly reached 100,000 copies in just one day. This impressive feat ranks them 3rd in first-week sales among all groups that debuted in 2026.
FLARE U has been making waves across various music charts since their debut. They topped the Hanteo Chart Daily Album and Music charts on their first day, as well as the Circle Chart Daily Retail Album chart. Their momentum continues, securing 2nd place on the Hanteo Chart Weekly Album chart (May 11 to May 17) and the Circle Chart Weekly Retail Album chart (May 10 to May 16).
The debut album “YOUTH ERROR” tells the story of two youths, Choi Lip-woo and Kang Woo-jin, who come together as a team to complement each other and create a single light. The title track “WAY 2 U” captures the heart-fluttering excitement of realizing romantic feelings for a friend and rushing toward them without hesitation.
