On the 21st, a new video featuring Gang Dong-won was released on the YouTube channel ‘Study King Jjin Genius.’ The episode featured a fun audition concept where the group ‘Bangtan Pink,’ consisting of Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Ji-hye, and Jang Young-ran, searched for new members to join their co-ed group.
The production team sparked laughter right from the start by revealing they rented an entire five-story building just to secure Gang Dong-won’s appearance. Before the star arrived, Nam Chang-hee entered the interview room shouting, “Please raise me!” but Jang Young-ran immediately shut him down by saying, “Tell him to get lost,” leaving everyone in stitches.
The atmosphere completely shifted the moment Gang Dong-won walked through the door. Hong Jin-kyung, Jang Young-ran, and Lee Ji-hye screamed and jumped out of their seats. In the ensuing chaos, Hong Jin-kyung tried to get Gang Dong-won to sit on her lap, while Jang Young-ran and Lee Ji-hye rushed to sit on his, turning the set into total mayhem.
When asked to share some stories about his life, Gang Dong-won joked, “If I speak in poetry, I might lose weight. I’ll skip the poetry. Just kidding,” bringing more laughs to the group.
He also mentioned his family, revealing that he has an older sister born in 1978. Upon hearing this, Jang Young-ran was delighted to find out they are the same age.
A street casting photo of Gang Dong-won from when he was 18 was also revealed. Both the cast and the production staff were left in awe of his sharp features and aura, which look almost identical to how he looks today.
