Fashion designer Ko Tae-yong is stepping in as a new boss on ‘Boss in the Mirror’!
In the May 24 episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Boss in the Mirror’, Ko Tae-yong makes his debut. A true genius in his field, Ko Tae-yong debuted at Seoul Fashion Week as the youngest designer at age 26 and has since conquered the world’s top three fashion shows in New York, Paris, and Milan.
Known for his legendary status in the industry, Ko Tae-yong catches attention by expressing outrage over the slack state of the fashion world, exclaiming, “The world is really going crazy.” During the first design meeting for the autumn season, his nagging button is triggered. He delivers such blunt feedback to his employees’ design briefings that the room turns ice-cold. Furious over the quality of the first drafts, Ko Tae-yong laments the current atmosphere, which is vastly different from when he first entered the industry, shouting, “The fashion world is rotten. It’s collapsed!” He opens a new world of savagery toward the industry, crying out that the fashion world is “completely rotten” whenever his employees make a mistake.
