Group UNITE has completely transformed!

On the afternoon of the 12th, UNITE (Eunho, Steve, Hyungseok, Uno, DEY, Kyungmoon, and Sion) held a media showcase for their 8th mini album ‘INYUN Part.1’ at the NOL Theater Hapjeong Dongyang Life Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

This comeback marks their first in nine months since moving to a new agency. Uno shared his excitement, saying, “Since the hiatus was long, we prepared really hard. I’m excited because it’s been a while, and I hope the fans love it.”

Sion also expressed his determination, stating, “I will promote with a positive mind and dream even bigger dreams.”

Through this new album, UNITE tells a story about ‘Inyun’ (connection), a bond that remains strong despite different locations, situations, and time zones. Rather than fate or coincidence, they describe this feeling of connection as ‘Inyun,’ capturing the moment different beings reach the same space and become one. Instead of direct emotional expression, the album strips away exaggerated brightness, offering tension through restrained energy and low-saturation sounds.

Eunho explained, “This album marks a new turning point for UNITE. We put in our desire to clearly connect with many people.”

The title track ‘POSE!’ captures a single pose where two different worlds overlap within one frame. The subtitle ‘姿態’ (Posture) refers to the way a being is revealed and the form of the moment they are recognized, intending to vividly capture the instant an invisible connection is revealed.

Kyungmoon teased, “You’ll be able to see a new side of UNITE with a different vibe than before.”

After finishing the ‘POSE!’ stage, Hyungseok said, “We prepared this song for a long time, so I’m happy we could show it to you successfully,” while Steve honestly admitted, “I feel so relieved. I’ve been wanting to show this to everyone as soon as possible.”

Alongside the title track ‘POSE!’, the album features five songs in total: ‘Parallel Line,’ which boasts intense energy based on Rage Hyper; ‘Savior,’ which captures the moment of breaking through boundaries and limits; ‘Nothing,’ which shows the will to run toward someone while wavering between anxiety and certainty; and ‘So Alive,’ a fan song that honestly conveys the promise to never let go even in moments of collapse.

The members showcased their improved musical skills by participating in the overall songwriting and composing for all tracks. DEY shared, “I feel proud, and it makes me feel like I should work even harder in the future.”

With the members’ high level of involvement, their satisfaction with the album was also high.

Hyungseok jokingly gave the album a “4.8 out of 5,” adding, “I’ll leave the 0.2 for the future,” while Uno expressed his deep affection by giving it a perfect “10 out of 10.”

They also mentioned what has changed since moving agencies. Eunho revealed, “This is the first album we’ve released in a year since moving. We tried to communicate a lot with the company. It was more fun than before because the company really tried to listen to our opinions. There was a difference in how we were creating our own work.”

Hyungseok added, “Since our opinions were heavily reflected in the album, we wanted to do even better, so the seven of us talked a lot and relied on each other.”

DEY raised expectations by saying, “Previously, we showed a lot of hip-hop performances, but this time there is more linear choreography. I think those parts will feel fresh to the fans.”

Meanwhile, member Eun Sang, who is currently on hiatus, unfortunately could not participate in this album. Eunho explained, “This is the first time we’re promoting as seven. Since Eun Sang still needs time to recover, he decided to rest for this album as well. We felt that we couldn’t show any gaps even as seven, so we tried to work even harder among ourselves.”

Having recently celebrated their 4th debut anniversary, Eunho shared, “I prepared for this album with the mindset of debuting all over again. It felt like a refresh, which allowed me to prepare even more diligently.”

The album was released today at 6 PM.
