Starship Entertainment released a new episode of the group’s own content, ‘AKIVE’, on IVE’s official YouTube channel on the 22nd.
In this episode, IVE transformed into members of a club at “IVE University.”
The members appeared in the club room and started chatting about their lives, taking on various roles: Gaeul as the literary girl and club president, An Yujin as the youngest daughter of a prestigious family, Liz as the “room-corner artist,” Jang Wonyoung as the “question mark fairy,” Leeseo as the bright friend, and Rei as the IVE University ambassador.
Gaeul didn’t miss the chance to promote her personal YouTube channel, while Liz shared that she’s been working on songs and even performed an impromptu rap with the support of the members, creating a fun atmosphere.
Club president Gaeul then proposed a project, mentioning, “There are rumors that our club does nothing but rely on our looks.” The group decided to film a short-form drama and completed the script with the help of AI.
Once the script for the short-form drama ‘Black Heart’—which included characters envisioned by the members—was finished, they dove into a serious script reading. Gaeul showed true leadership by handling both the writing and the filming, and the other members also approached the shoot with great sincerity.
After filming wrapped, a fierce competition broke out between Gaeul, An Yujin, and Rei—who had no actual screen time in the drama—to secure the narration role.
The three showcased narrations full of their own unique personalities. Gaeul, who took on the editing duties after filming, sparked laughter by saying, “I have a heart as wide as the Pacific, so I should be the understanding one. I’m the only one at the top of this club.”
Finally, IVE cheered while watching their completed short-form drama. Jang Wonyoung praised it, saying, “In my opinion, this club is a stock that’s going to rise,” and Rei also gave a positive review, saying, “I really like it.” The full version of ‘Black Heart’ was then revealed, capturing the attention of fans.
