Scalping Ring Caught Making 7.1 Billion Won from G-Dragon and BLACKPINK Tickets!

Tickets originally priced at 200,000 won skyrocketed to as much as 5 million won!

The upcoming episode of MBC Every1’s ‘Hidden Eye,’ airing May 4 at 8:30 PM, will take a deep dive into the reality of organized concert ticket scalping.

In the ‘Kwon Il-yong’s Crime Rules’ segment, a scalping organization was caught reselling idol concert tickets at up to 25 times their original price. It was revealed that they secured large quantities of tickets for popular acts like G-Dragon, SEVENTEEN, and BLACKPINK, raking in profits of approximately 7.1 billion won.

Tensions spiked during a transaction when a buyer suddenly changed their mind, leaving Kim Dong-hyun shocked, saying, “My heart is racing just watching this.” Interest is now peaking regarding the organized distribution structure and the methods used by these scalpers.

Actress Han Seung-yeon, formerly of KARA, will appear as a special guest. A fan of the show, Han Seung-yeon expressed her excitement, saying, “It feels like I’m looking at celebrities,” while referring to the 3COPS. She reportedly shared her thoughts actively throughout the filming in a bright atmosphere.

The episode will also highlight a fatal highway accident. A truck wheel, measuring 1 meter in diameter and weighing about 60kg, flew into a moving bus and pierced the driver’s seat, causing the bus to crash into the center divider. Tragically, the bus driver lost his life.

Han Seung-yeon was speechless at the tragic scene, asking, “How could anyone avoid that?” while Kim Dong-hyun described it as a “bolt from the blue.” The broadcast will also provide an analysis of the root cause behind these recurring accidents.

‘Hidden Eye,’ which vividly examines real-life crimes and accidents, airs May 4 at 8:30 PM on MBC Every1.
