A shocking story was revealed where a woman, who had been suffering from the persistent stalking of a male neighbor, was instead framed as the stalker herself.
In the morning broadcast of SBS PLUS’s ‘Lee Ho-sun’s Cider’ on the 9th, a segment titled “The Height of Audacity! Shameless People” featured a story about a “neighbor acting like a victim” whose delusions caused immense pain, sparking outrage among viewers.
According to the storyteller, the neighbor caused constant fear by appearing every day during her commute and even after she finished working late. He eventually started calling her by name, but remained silent when asked how he knew it. The woman then recalled the chilling realization that her mail had been opened.
The man’s actions became even bolder. He approached her while she was returning from grocery shopping, offering to “carry the bags all the way to the kitchen.” He was even caught eavesdropping at her front door after she rejected him. Despite her stating she had a boyfriend, he countered by saying, “You don’t have one, do you?” and continued his irrational behavior by gifting her flowers.

After consciously avoiding the man for two months, the woman encountered him at the entrance with his girlfriend. That night, the man approached her and asked the absurd question, “Why are you looking at my girlfriend? Do you still like me?”
The situation didn’t end there. A few days later, the man displayed the ultimate audacity by claiming to be the stalking victim within the apartment complex, even revealing the woman’s name and unit number. Despite being the perpetrator, he publicly shamed her by labeling her as the stalker.

After hearing the story, Lee Ho-sun diagnosed the man as “a truly scary person” who suffers from delusions rather than just having bad intentions. He warned of the severity of the situation, stating, “He shows symptoms of delusion where he mistakes a simple greeting for love and interprets things self-centrically.”
For practical countermeasures, Lee Ho-sun emphasized securing CCTV footage from the area to collect evidence of criminal acts, such as the opening of mail and checking of packages. He further advised, “Since delusions can expand into anger, it is very dangerous,” suggesting that she “must have a guardian, such as living with a close friend.”
