On the 8th, a video titled “Is this right? Youngsoo♥Oksoon worn out by sisters’ power struggle (ft. Declaration of giving up shielding)” was uploaded to the SBS Plus YouTube channel as part of the “Senior’s Interference” series.
In the video, Youngsoo and Oksoon from the 30th batch watched the 31st batch’s episodes together and shared their reactions.
Youngsoo mentioned, “I saw last week’s ending, and Defconn hyung gave a notice. Since the 31st batch is so hot right now, some people are even visiting their places of business, so Defconn hyung asked everyone to exercise restraint.”
Meanwhile, in recent episodes of the 31st batch, female contestants Youngsook, Oksoon, and Jeonghee sparked controversy by discussing Soonja while she was right in the next room.
While viewers were divided on whether it was “backbiting” or “sharing concerns,” the situation was criticized for a lack of consideration after the conversation eventually reached Soonja’s ears.
Watching this, 30th batch Oksoon commented, “I think it’s sharing concerns. Women often feel more relieved and can organize their thoughts better when talking to each other rather than suffering alone. But the door (should have been closed).”
She added, “If it were me and I was that worried, I would have closed the door before speaking. It’s only for 5 nights and 6 days, so it’s a shame they couldn’t just endure a bit.”
