A forbidden love between a husband and his sister-in-law led to an even bigger twist that left everyone shocked. The story behind a fake affair and a 3 billion won plot has been revealed.
In the “Case Notebook” segment of Channel A’s ‘Detective’s Trade Secrets’ aired on the 4th, a request stating “I think my husband and my older sister are having an affair” sent shockwaves through the studio.
The client’s husband, who owned commercial properties, and her sister, who ran a real estate agency, had been in frequent contact for work. They grew closer while repeatedly going out for property inspections.
The client discovered the affair through secret conversations recorded on her husband’s car dashcam.
The husband even made insulting remarks about his wife, saying she felt like “having a kind dishwasher at home.”
Once the detective team began their investigation, they captured multiple scenes of the pair dating at motels, restaurants, and cafes.
However, two months later, the situation took a sudden turn when the husband visited the detective agency, asking them to “find my wife who ran away from home.”
He claimed that he had transferred his assets to his wife’s name because of the affair with his sister-in-law, but the wife had left after taking 3 billion won from the sale of the commercial properties.
Tracking revealed that the wife is currently pregnant and has fled to Vietnam with another man. But there was an even more shocking twist behind the entire incident.
Six months prior, the sister decided to split the couple after seeing her sibling struggle with money issues with the husband. She introduced a man to her sister and even provided a secret meeting place to encourage an affair.
She even meticulously designed a “fake affair drama” to ensure the sister got a property division and a divorce once she became pregnant.
At the time, the husband was looking for a way to avoid paying delinquent taxes, and the sister suggested a “fake divorce” through a sham affair with her.
The three of them even hired a detective to intentionally create evidence of an affair and staged the situation to look like a mutual agreement divorce.
Consequently, the husband succeeded in hiding assets and avoiding tax collection by dividing most of the property to his wife. However, this was all a betrayal plot by the sisters who held a grudge against him. In the end, all three faced legal judgment after a messy battle.
