The first part of the ceremony was hosted by MC Boom and comedian Moon Se-yoon. Koyote members Kim Jong-min and Bbaekga delivered heartfelt congratulatory speeches. They even surprised her by singing Sung Si-kyung’s “You Were a Touching Moment,” leaving Shinji moved to tears by the deep bond and support of her fellow members.

Close colleague Ailee performed her own song “Heaven,” and Baek Z Young sang Sung Si-kyung’s “Two People,” as all the guests sincerely celebrated the couple’s lifelong commitment.

Shinji and Moon-won shared a touching message in their wedding invitation: “We wish to grow the love we’ve built while facing each other into a great love as we now walk together looking in the same direction. We would be grateful if you could bless our future as we protect this love.”

The couple first met in 2024 when Moon-won appeared as a guest on MBC Standard FM’s “Lee Yoon-seok and Shinji’s Single Bungle Show.” They began dating that year and promised to marry the following year.

Their relationship became public last June during their wedding photo shoot. Later, in January, Shinji shared on Instagram, “I’m grateful that we’ve grown closer, built trust, and that I now have someone completely on my side. We’ve become stronger. Moon-won and I plan to marry in May to start the second act of my life.”

However, the couple faced unexpected controversy after their announcement. While introducing him to Koyote members Kim Jong-min and Bbaekga on her YouTube channel, it was revealed that Moon-won is a divorcee with a child. Following this, various allegations surfaced, including cheating, bullying juniors during military service, and real estate fraud.

Due to this, many people voiced their opposition to the marriage. In response, Moon-won clarified, “Claims that I bullied friends or juniors during my school or military days are completely false.” He explained that he had a mutual divorce and worked as an assistant real estate agent after completing professional training, while denying the other allegations.

Addressing the concerns surrounding her marriage, Shinji stated, “I am well aware of the affectionate concern and worries of many. I will not forget and will move forward step by step with a consistent appearance.”

The couple has already started their life together and is sharing their daily routine in their honeymoon home via YouTube. They recently appeared on KBS 2TV’s “Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-staurant” and will soon showcase their wedding preparations and newlywed life on MBN’s “Someone Else’s Precious Family.”
