Everyone who remembers and loves the late Turtleman gathered for a special moment.
The May 19th episode of JTBC’s ‘Hidden Singer 8’ was dedicated to a special tribute for the late Turtleman, the leader of the group Turtles.
During the show, Jun Hyun-moo shared, “We’ve had specials for the deceased before, but this is the first time for a dance singer and rapper. Although it’s a memorial special, we want to commemorate him in a cheerful and joyful way. Many people who remember and cherish him have joined us.”
Turtles members Geumbi and Zee also appeared in the studio. Zee shared a touching moment, saying, “It’s such an honor. It was recently the 18th anniversary of Turtleman oppa’s passing. I visited him, and he was someone who truly loved visiting broadcasting stations. He would be so happy right now, knowing we’re visiting a station.”
Geumbi added, “Oppa always said that Turtles should be singers who give messages of dreams and hope to people. I hope today becomes a time to remember him while continuing to provide that dream and hope.”
Turtleman’s older brother also joined the broadcast. Watching the impersonators who made it through fierce competition, he added a touch of humor by saying, “They all seem like my younger brother [Seong-hun].”
