Comedian Lee Hee-kyung (42) has shared the miraculous news of her pregnancy after 10 years of marriage!
On May 26, Lee Hee-kyung took to social media to reveal, “I’ve spent the last few days feeling incredibly happy yet nervous,” adding, “A baby angel has finally come to me after 10 years of marriage.”
She shared the journey, saying, “My husband and I put in so much effort to have a child, but it just wasn’t happening.” She continued, “I eventually visited an infertility clinic, but just before starting IVF treatments, a miracle happened and I conceived naturally!”
Reflecting on the emotional process, she admitted, “Because it’s a late pregnancy, I was anxious and worried every single day until I could see the gestational sac and hear the heartbeat.” She added, “When I first heard the baby’s heartbeat, I couldn’t find any words and just cried endlessly.” Lee Hee-kyung revealed that she is currently 16 weeks pregnant.
Lee Hee-kyung debuted in 2010 as part of the 25th KBS open recruitment for comedians. She first caught the public’s eye after losing over 30kg through the ‘Health Girl’ segment on ‘Gag Concert’. In 2016, she tied the knot with a businessman seven years her senior.
