aespa’s Ningning and singer Lee Young Ji have donated 40 million won as part of a drinking game bet.
On May 1, a video titled “Devil of a Woman from the Continent” was uploaded to the channel ‘No Prepare’ (차린건 쥐뿔도 없지만). Returning after about a year and six months, MC Lee Young Ji and guest Ningning enjoyed a relaxed conversation over drinks.
While playing a word-chain game, Lee Young Ji set the mood by asking Ningning if she likes donating. She then proposed, “The loser will generously donate 20 million won,” and Ningning readily agreed.
The high-stakes game ended in Lee Young Ji’s defeat when she couldn’t come up with a word to follow Ningning’s “말띠” (year of the horse). She sparked laughter by jokingly asking, “Does this mean I’m donating 20 million won?”
Lee Young Ji proved her integrity, stating, “You have to keep your word,” and shared a certificate showing her 20 million won donation to the ‘Yangcheon-gu Senior Welfare Center’. Adding to the heartwarming moment, Ningning, the winner of the bet, also revealed that she donated 20 million won to the ‘Korean Red Cross’ after filming.
‘No Prepare’ is a web variety show where Lee Young Ji invites guests to her home for drinks and talk, and it has recently been welcomed back by subscribers.
