Actor Son Ho-jun has been selected as the ambassador for the ‘2026 McDonald’s Happy Walk,’ donating 10 million won to support the families of children with serious illnesses.
The ‘2026 McDonald’s Happy Walk’ will take place on the 24th at the Incheon Munhak Stadium East Gate Plaza and Main Stadium area, with around 6,000 people expected to attend. On the day of the event, Son Ho-jun will join the participants, greet the crowd from the stage, and walk 3km to spread positive influence.
‘Happy Walk’ is a large-scale outdoor donation walking event hosted annually by McDonald’s Korea since 2024. All participation fees and donations are delivered to RMHC Korea, meaning that joining the event directly leads to a donation.
RMHC Korea is a global non-profit organization that operates the ‘Ronald McDonald House,’ a second home next to hospitals for children with serious illnesses and their families. This donation will be used for various projects, including the construction of the first Ronald McDonald House in the Seoul metropolitan area and support for families of seriously ill children.
A representative from McDonald’s stated, “We are grateful for actor Son Ho-jun’s warm sharing as the Happy Walk ambassador. We hope this donation provides a small amount of encouragement to children with serious illnesses and their families, and we ask for your interest and participation in the upcoming Happy Walk.”
