Actor Ahn Jae-hyun exploded with presence on ‘Save Me! Homes’ through his unexpected passion and preparation, drawing reactions that he is “Main MC material.”
In the MBC ‘Save Me! Homes’ episode aired on the 14th, the cast went on a mission to find apartments in Seoul available in the 300 million won range.
When a property near Hapjeong Station appeared, the cast expected a difficult mission since the area’s base market price is very high. However, Ahn Jae-hyun showed his sincerity by heading out for real estate scouting on his own. He revealed, “I even stopped by real estate offices near my house for pre-scouting,” leaving the cast in awe of his thorough preparation.
Ahn Jae-hyun showed his thoughtfulness by bringing protein drinks to a real estate agent he already knew. Upon arrival, he caught everyone’s attention by pulling out a pre-written list of questions. He asked realistic questions such as “What is the current market price?” and “Are there areas where 300 million won is possible?” while seriously immersing himself in the process, even filming the properties with his own phone camera.
However, reality was harsh. A real estate official explained that even Dobong-gu is in the 400 million won range, highlighting how difficult it is to find a 300 million won apartment in Seoul. Moving to another office, Ahn Jae-hyun once again showed his sense by offering drinks. When recommended the Sagajeong Station area in Jungnang-gu for 300 million won apartments, he was caught taking notes immediately. The cast was amazed, with Joo Woo-jae joking, “Sorry, but that’s Team Leader Sook’s spot.” As Kim Sook looked flustered, Im Woo-il created a hilarious “death game” atmosphere, telling everyone, “Someone get ready to leave.”

Most surprisingly, Ahn Jae-hyun suggested a battle for next week to see who could find a better house, even betting his “unpaid appearance fee.” Joo Woo-jae acknowledged that the semi-regulars are great at spotting houses and even called him “Main MC Ahn Jae-hyun.” The cast agreed that he is a prepared person who even films with his own camera.
