Annie, the eldest daughter of the Shinsegae Group and a member of the group All Day Project, has shared her graduation photos!
On the 22nd, Annie posted several photos on her account featuring her graduation cap and a lion emoji, the official mascot of Columbia University in the US. The photos show Annie looking stunning in high heels and wearing a blue graduation cap and gown while posing on campus.
Back in January, Annie shared the news about returning to university via the official communication platform for All Day Project. She told Dayone (the official fandom name), “You must have been surprised. I should have told you first, but I didn’t expect the news to break so suddenly.” She explained, “To answer what you’re curious about, I heard early last year that I couldn’t extend my leave of absence any further, so I decided after discussing it with the members and the company. I only have one semester left. Since I worked hard to earn many credits before, I can graduate after just one semester.”
She also shared her heart with fans, saying, “Please wait for about three and a half months until early May. I’ll study hard and work on a lot of music in the US, and I’ll post often, so don’t worry too much.” She added, “Actually, even if I leave on the weekend, I have to come back to Korea once or twice a month because of schedules. I’m really sorry I couldn’t tell Dayone first. But please be proud of me when I graduate. I’ll miss you all a lot.”
While attending the prestigious Ivy League school Columbia University and training for All Day Project, Annie previously showed her dedication by sharing a photo of herself studying for finals in an economy class seat on a plane. She wrote, “Studying for finals on the plane. A friend took this photo secretly, but I’m posting it because I think Dayone would like it.”
Thanks to her relentless effort, Annie has successfully graduated! With the academic restrictions now gone, fans are cheering for her full return to group activities.
